The Man Burns Tonight!

On The Menu: Dinner at 2:00am….

6:50am: Saturday Morning. We woke up. Yay!
We took the dog outside. We made an iced espresso.
We set up this Blog Post. And we are watching Dead&Co.,
Not Burning Man 2021, and the CBS Saturday Morning “News”….

COVID-19 is still the leading cause of death in the United States.
647000+ Reported Deaths in the United States from COVID-19 as of today.
66290+ Reported Deaths in California from COVID-19 as of today
53940+ Reported Deaths in New York from COVID-19 as of today
(these are the reported numbers, the true numbers are much higher)

NOTE: THERE IS ANOTHER REPORT THAT COVID-19 NUMBERS

The University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation
reports the number of COVID-19 DEATHS in the US at more than 900000
(that’s 57% higher than the official data according to their analysis)

4:15pm: Recapping Saturday. The dogs went outside. The dogs got fed.
We drank another iced espresso. Drink Coffee. Drink Water.

8:10pm: We worked on a project all day long. And got a lot done. But not finished.
Watched “Band of Brothers” on HBO again. Great mini-series!
We own it on DVD, and watch it all the way through at least once a year.

10:40pm: Okay, we ate a croissant and a banana and drank an iced espresso.
We should be really hungry, but we’re not again…. we haven’t eaten all day again.
But we had dinner last night at 2:00am, and we totally chowed down.
We took the dog outside. And now he’s chillin’ under the desk.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF FEDERAL PANDEMIC UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE!
Unemployment benefits, and the Federal Pandemic relief payments stop today.
Watch for crime rates to go up as people become more and more desperate for money.
Will ANYONE be investigating Bank of America for FRAUD AND THEFT? Probably not.
Billions and Billions of dollars were stolen by identity thieves and fraudsters.
Bank of America’s TOTAL FAIL to fund and service the Card Payment Program.
And CA EDD TOTALLY FAILED TO PROVIDE THE BASIC SERVICES REQUIRED!
Will they fix the broken system? HAHAHA. Right. So stupid.
The entire CA EDD needs to be rebuilt from the bottom up
with public service, speed of service and security as priorities!

Sunday, September 5, 2021 – Sunday! Sunday!

On The Menu: CAKE! We didn’t eat dinner, so this was it.

4:15am: Happy Burn Night Morning! They did burn The Man LIVE via internet.
Crimson Rose lit The Man LIVE online after a digital Fire Conclave
and images from past Burns.

6:15am: So we went to bed for about an hour. And we woke up again.
We drank a cup of espresso. Drink Coffee. Drink Water.

12:05pm: The dogs went outside. The dogs got fed.
The newspapers came, Our Stepbrother, the Professor, came over to visit.
We drank an iced espresso.
And then we spent the morning on our project, and now we are almost finished.

9:10pm: Recapping Sunday. Nothing happened. We stayed home.
We were entertained by TV, interweb, and the dogs.
We got dressed and picked up dinner after calling in the order.
It was really F*CKIN’ HOT outside at 6:30pm!

On The Menu: Sunday Night Sushi! Rainbow roll, spicy tuna cut roll,
California roll, eel & avocado cut roll, and albacore sashimi

And FULL-ON Sunday Night ENVY! Wishing were on the Playa this last week….
We could have gone. Not safe. Not Burning Man. So No Go. Nice Rave Party in the Desert!

NOTE: We weighed in at 183 pounds tonight!
Down from 206 (our heaviest) and our pre-pandemic weight of 186.

We were already awake. The dog went outside. The dogs got fed.
The newspapers were retrieved. We made an iced espresso.
And it’s Labor Day Monday – Federal Holiday but NO BBQ PARTY
and tonight is Rosh Hashannah, the Jewish New Year! NO PARTY!
Seriously, please just STAYTHEFUCKHOME this year.

1.5 Million Travelers passed through TSA Airport Checkpoints on Friday.
Parties, Sporting Events, Concerts, and other Mass Gatherings are back.
People are eating out, shopping, drinking in bars, and traveling again.
THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER! PEOPLE ARE STILL DYING!
The Delta Variant is spreading! It is contagious and deadly! WAKE UP!

FUCK. Here we go again….
YES THERE WILL BE ANOTHER COVID-19 SURGE AFTER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!
There won’t be an end. There will be a new variant that kills vaccinated people soon.
Maybe, when vaccinated people start dying again, we’ll have a REAL SHUTDOWN.
So bummed we had to cancel our Las Vegas trip for this week. F*CK IT.

Baseball is fucking BORING. And spitting is gross and disgusting.
Major League Baseball should BAN SPITTING ON THE FIELD.
These guys get paid BIG $$$$$$$ to play a kid’s game.

NATIONAL GUARD/LAW ENFORCEMENT if necessary to enforce the shutdown.

Breaking News from the State Department: (Why isn’t Mike Pompeo in prison?)
A $5,800 bottle of Japanese whiskey gifted to former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo by the government of Japan in 2019 is missing. Pompeo said he never received the bottle of whiskey and had no idea it was missing, or what happened to the gift. Pompeo’s lawyer, William Burck, told the Wall Street Journal that the former secretary of state had “no recollection of receiving the bottle of whiskey and does not have any knowledge of what happened to it.”
