Remembering my little girls today.
May their memory be blessed!
IMG_3611 1

12:20am: And so it begins, we still haven’t eaten.
We took the dog outside. We drank an iced espresso.

1:01am: We banged out breakfast for dinner and just consumed it.
And we took the dogs outside one more time.

On The Menu: Breakfast Burrito made with 3 eggs over medium, bacon,
and a quesadilla with salsa; carrot sticks, cherries, and another iced espresso.
233211993_5022835951076264_1890026003616485116_n

7:07am: We woke up early again. We took the dog outside.
We played with the dog. We published our DoNotTravelTuesday Blog Post.

It’s NATIONAL SON’S AND DAUGHTER’S DAY (“None that we know of….”)
so, we’ll just move along today.

8:00am: Dogs barking. The dogs went outside. The dogs got fed.

10:30am: Drank an iced espresso. Drink Coffee. Drink Water.
Got the newspapers and the mail.
11:15am: We ate a banana.

It’s NATIONAL PRESIDENTIAL GOP TRAITOR JOKE DAY:
(at least we can almost joke about Trump again)
a1dab4d15feaadb36d4518dee5f27bb4
TRUMP IS A CRIMINAL CON MAN!
AND TRUMPERS ARE LOSERS AND SUCKERS! “That’s all today.”

JoshWillTravel: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

2:55pm: We fell asleep and took a nice nap.
And now the gardener is here again.

Recapping Wednesday evening. We ordered a dinner delivery.
The dogs went outside. The dogs got fed. The food arrived.
We ate dinner, watched “Jeopardy”, and then fell asleep.

On The Menu: Chinese food. Kung pao chicken, chicken and stringbeans,
orange peel beef, chicken egg rolls, steamed rice, and an iced espresso to drink

JoshWillTravel: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

11:30pm: We woke up. We took the dog outside.
And now we’re updating our Blog Post.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is real and not a joke.
There were coyotes outside the house yesterday morning and tonight.
It’s been five years (2016) since the little girls
were killed by coyotes in our fenced backyard.
We also have some nasty raccoons in the neighborhood,
and we saw the really fat one out front this morning too.
(and we can hear them in the ivy and bushes outside at night)
There’s also a big hawk, a mated pair of hawks, and two owls that hunt at night.
And the hawks perch in the neighbor’s tall pine tree during the day too.

So we are chillin’ with the dog, and he’s being adorable and cute.
He was sleeping at our feet, under the desk,
and now he just moved next to us and is sleeping in his play bed.
The other dogs are sleeping in their houses the bedroom.
And it’s Thursday morning, just past midnight.
Sarah Silverman is guest hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight.
And she’s killin’ it. And Guillermo tested positive for COVID-19!
So he’s quarantined at home, and hasn’t been on the show this week,
but he made a remote appearance today during the monologue,
and Sarah sent him a get well gift: a jumbo-sized bottle
of Don Julio tequila and 6 big bags of Flaming Cheetos.

It’s NATIONAL RASPBERRY BOMBE DAY!

8:35pm: We took a short nap after dinner with the dog.
We woke up and made an iced espresso. And we drank it.
Drink coffee. Drink Water.
Now we are watching the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on TV.

More athletes and staff tested positive for COVID-19 today.

9:55pm: We cut up a sweet and juicy watermelon and ate some too.

11:00pm: Wednesday night recap of Wednesday. It was HOT.
The dogs got fed, and they went outside, and they had a great day.
We got dressed and drove the car to the Sushi restaurant and picked up dinner.
And that’s about the most exciting thing that happened here today.
The gardener came. The pool guy came. We slept most of the day away.

There was a pursuit in Fontana this afternoon,
but it was pretty much slow speed and stupid.
In the end the police pulled her out of the car. Suspect in custody.
Screen Shot 2021-07-28 at 18.45.00

And there was another pursuit late last night!
Guy on a moped/mini-bike went for a long ride with the police behind him,
even went the wrong way on the freeway,
until he ended up in Whittier Narrows park where he WIPED OUT
and ended up in the dirt. Suspect in custody.

May the Four Winds blow him safely home.

Remembering the “Neenster” on the sixth anniversary of her final day on this world
which was actually the 25th-26th, so we are a couple days late….
She just sent us a message as a reminder, and she will never be forgotten.

12:20am: We took the dog outside.
We made and ate a “banana split” for a satisfying midnight dessert.

On The Menu: 2 scoops of Haagen-Daaz vanilla ice cream,
a small frozen banana (sliced), chocolate syrup, and whipped cream
222962379_4982007605159099_6772987262295625413_n

4:02am: We are still awake. The dog is sleeping on the bed.
The other dogs are in the bedroom sleeping. It’s really quiet.
We slept all day and took a nap in the evening.
Our sleep cycle and sleep patterns are truly messed up.
Today is Thursday. “IS THIS A WEEKDAY?”

8:30am: We fell asleep with the dog after 5:00am.
We turned on a podcast, crawled into bed, and fell asleep.
We woke up around 7:15am.

Well, it seems someone was breaking into cars and prowling homes and yards down the street this morning around 4:00am while we were still awake in the Home Office. They never made it down to our end of the block, maybe because they were spooked by the newspaper delivery guy or maybe because the neighbors alerted. So we talked with a detective from the LAPD out in the street this morning. There was a Home Invasion the other night less than a mile away that made the TV news and the Citizen App, and there have been a few others in the mid-valley recently. A lot of local property crime, armed robberies, and violent crimes connected to the “unhoused” that live along Ventura Blvd and in the Sepulveda Reservoir. And organized gangs are back in the valley looking for targets and victims. Crime has been getting a lot worse in the San Fernando Valley recently. We chased a guy out of the driveway when he was trying to steal the Mercedes (that we were about to return the dealer) in November 2020 (read the previous Blog Post). And those guys were pros and probably connected to the construction crew working across the street, because we haven’t had any problems with sketchy characters since they finished, until last night.

There’s been an underground poker game running out of the house on the corner for a couple months, and there was a game the other night. Usually 20-30 nice cars parked on the cross street, and a “doorman” in the driveway, when they are playing at house. And that’s also the corner where the guys were prowling around last night. We live in a very  “crime-free” neighborhood for the most part, so we take notice of strangers and any criminal activity is cause for concern. The violent Home Invasions have a West LA LAPD TASK FORCE working on the investigation, so they were canvasing our street along with the regular West Valley Division detectives. FUCK. One more thing.

The dogs got fed. The dogs went outside.
We got the newspapers and made an iced espresso.
Drink Coffee. Drink Water. Be Vigilant.

9:35am: We just made another iced espresso and then
we left a message for the detective who left his card on our front door.

A Tsunami warning was issued for parts of Alaska this morning
after an earthquake with a magnitude of ~8.2 occurred off the coast.

11:15am: We took the dogs outside. We got the mail. The housekeeper is here.
And we are chilling’ with the dogs in the Home Office until she is finished.

JoshWillTravel: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

3:15pm: Well, we took a nap with the dogs. The housekeeper left.
We took the dogs outside. We made another iced espresso. It’s HOT out.
And it’s Thursday afternoon. We have to keep reminding ourself.

5:40pm: FUCK. FUCK. FUCK. (at 5:00pm again)
The dogs went outside. The dogs got fed. The dogs went outside.

Recapping Thursday night.
Chopped chicken salad delivered. Ate half, saved half.
Fell asleep. Woke up. Took the dog outside.

BOMBSHELL NEWS!
Simone Biles, the US Gymnastic Champion, pulled out of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics event for mental health reasons (and physical health reasons because a mistake on the uneven bars, vault, or balance beam can be very bad). Most people applauded her decision and it’s now really big media news. Some people didn’t support her decision, and some even made jokes (like Michael Ché) and now they’re the target of American “cancel culture”.
And then US Gymnast Suni Lee won the Gold Medal and became our newest “American Hero”.

12:30am: Time for dinner.
We had leftover salad, so we used it for tacos.
On The Menu: 2 chicken chopped salad tacos
228013841_4987695291256997_115587041296690013_n

9:05am: We were up all morning and fell asleep around dawn.
And then we woke up.
The dogs went outside. The dogs got fed. The dogs went outside.
We drank an iced espresso. Drink Coffee. Drink Water.
We took a shower. We got dressed.

10:30am: We ran a couple errands. We went to our PO Box.
We went to the bank, and we went inside.
We contacted one masked person behind thick acrylic, the teller.
It’s a beautiful day in the SFV and it’s going to be HOT again.
We drove home. We got undressed.
And now we’re wearing our sweat shorts again.

JoshWillTravel: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

7:40pm: Recapping Friday. Good Shabbos! It was HOT today.
We ate a little green jello with whipped cream. Then we took a nap.
We slept all afternoon. The dogs got fed and went outside.
We made an iced espresso.

227779331_4987697011256825_6386472113867311452_n

It’s Friday night again. Another weekend for a week without end.
Seriously, what the F*CK? And how is it the END OF JULY already?
Tempus fugit. Time flies.

8:25pm: And we just played “fetch” with the little boy for a half hour.

On The Menu: Cubano sandwich with garlic chicken, dill pickle, avocado,
carrot and celery sticks, watermelon, and cherries for dinner,
with cran-raspberry-orange juice and an iced espresso to drink.

Dogs, TV, Tokyo Olympics, the interweb, YouTube vids, and writing Blog Posts
on Friday night to stay busy and entertained in the Home Office.

10:11am: One more Saturday morning.
We were awake until after 6:00am this morning.
We drank an iced espresso. Drink Coffee. Drink Water.
We ate a quesadilla with avocado and salsa verde.
We woke up at 9:30am. And we need a nap already.
The dogs got fed. The dogs went outside.
10:40am: The newspapers and the mail made it inside.
We made an iced espresso and took the dogs outside again.
Now we’re chillin’ with the dogs in the Home Office
and we managed to fall down a Blues Brothers rabbit hole this morning.

“Briefcase Full of Blues” is the debut album by The Blues Brothers.
It was released on November 28, 1978, by Atlantic Records.
It was recorded live on September 9, 1978, at the Universal Amphitheatre
in Los Angeles, when the band opened for comedian Steve Martin.

JoshWillTravel: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

3:30pm: We took a nap with the dogs. We woke up.
We took the dogs outside and got a glass of juice.
And we just took the dogs outside again. And it is HOT.

JoshWillTravel: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

5:35pm: We took another nap with the dog. And we just woke up.
The dogs got fed. The dogs went outside. We ordered a pizza delivery.
On The Menu: Extra-large pizza with sausage and meatball delivered!

9:00pm: And suddenly, we are not stressed anymore.

We drank an iced espresso. We entertained ourself with YouTube vids.
Now we’re chillin’ in the Home Office.

Watching the Bertcast with Bert Kreischer on Youtube:
kreischer

And we watched the film “Outlaws” on a Showtime network,
about a violent Australian motorcycle gang named The Copperheads.
AND WHY DID WE WATCH IT? WHY?
We wanted to see how bad it was going to be. And it was bad.
It was gritty and raw, (and really bad and boring too) with some good acting.
It was a lot more real than “Sons of Anarchy” which we enjoyed.
And it was almost “Cinema Verité”, shot like real life,
but really it was just amateur (headache-inducing) camera work.

John McAfee RIP…. Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself.
McAfee “committed suicide” in a Spanish prison? REALLY?
Is it a conspiracy theory if the victim predicts his own death?
NOTE: It already appears that the mainstream media is just going to bury the story.
DO YOU TRUST THE US GOVERNMENT TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH?

Was he an “Enemy of the State” or did he just know too much about certain people?
And what about Jeffrey Epstein? And the Deutsche Bank Banker? Suicides? Really?

Friday, June 25, 2021 – It’s the Last Friday of the Month!

It’s Anthony Bourdain Day! Today would have been his 65th birthday. The celebrity chef, author, world traveler, and TV personality killed himself on June 8, 2018.
172851611_10164828830585104_5054120128163087325_n

On this day in 1876, Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer FAILED.
The 7th United States Cavalry was defeated by Sioux and Cheyenne Warriors at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in the Montana Territory (aka “Custer’s Last Stand”).
There were 268 dead and 55 severely wounded U.S. soldiers (and others) when the battle was over.

4:55am: It’s Friday morning! Have a nice day.
smiley 11
It’s the weekend.
Not that anything is any different from the rest of the week.
It’s going to be HOT here, maybe 100 degrees on Sunday.

7:35am: And we took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs. We took the dogs outside.

Remember that cow that went missing after they escaped from the slaughterhouse?
They found it yesterday morning in Whittier Narrows park.
OKAY, WTF? Diane Warren (Hollywood Elite) is going to pay to send it to a sanctuary.
And a bunch of a**holes are now protesting outside the meatpacking plant,
because they want the other 38 cows to be “pardoned” instead of becoming steaks.
Seriously, fuciking cows and people protesting meat are big news in Los Angeles……..
And MORE Britney Spears court news…

RECORD HEAT! EXTEME DROUGHT! “We’re having a heat wave.”

Be glad you’re not in southern Oregon or the Pacific Northwest this week!
But seriously, it’s going to be dangerously HOY in a lot of places. so STAY COOL!
Take care of your family, friends, and pets. Young and elderly people are most at risk.

And the newspaper also wants the IOC and the organizers to cancel the games.
Japanese Emperor Naruhito also thinks it’s a bad idea.

12:30pm: We took the dog outside. We had to do some grooming too.
We played with the dog. We loved the dog. We love the little boy.
Now he’s napping next to us in the Home Office.

On The Menu: Fresh strawberries and whipped cream
with a slice of banana bread and an iced espresso to drink

We did nothing. It’s Friday. It’s the weekend. It’s the end of June already.
We drank iced espresso. We enjoyed the air conditioning. It was HOT out.

We took the dogs outside. We made an iced espresso.

204571988_4887135771312950_4985729327110375271_n

NOTE: We got dressed and drove to the restaurant.
We talked to the staff (our friends) at the restaurant and drove home.
We ate dinner while watching LIVE MUSIC on the desktop.

There was a pursuit that ended when the guy hit the barrier between the carpool lane and the freeway head-on at high speed. He destroyed the truck in a spectacular wreck, spun out, rolled it, and landed in the carpool lanes. Then he crawled out of the wreckage (unhurt) and surrendered to the Highway Patrol. Yeah Saturday Night!

It also used to be NATIONALHANDSHAKE DAY, but that was before COVID-19.

6:20am: A couple of raccoons were just fighting in the trees in the backyard!
The dogs went nuts and started barking. The coons were hissing and squealing.
We got to watch them fight and shake the trees. RACCOONS ARE REALLY NASTY!
So there was a little excitement already today.

8:20am: We took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs.
The little girl isn’t eating her food for the second day…. and we’re a little worried..
We took the dogs outside again and made a double espresso with whipped cream.

NATIONAL ONION DAY and NATIONAL ORANGE BLOSSOM DAY.

1:20pm: We had the dogs in the Home Office and now they’re in the bedroom.

Sunday! Sunday! The NFL Football Championships! Two Winners go to the Super Bowl.

Kansas City Chiefs v. New England Patriots – Los Angeles Rams v. New Orleans Saints

As a kid, I watched Pat Haden, Roman Gabriel & Joe Namath quarterback for the Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. And after 22 years without a local football team, three years ago, the Rams came back! And then two years ago the San Diego Chargers announced they would be relocating to Los Angeles. NOW THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE SUPER BOWL ARE ONLY ONE GAME AWAY! GO RAMS!

Pulling victory from the jaws of defeat, a lucky interception and a long field goal,
the Los Angeles Rams are going to the Super Bowl! GO RAMS!

NOTE: YES, the refs blew the pass interference call that would have changed the game.

And the New England Patriots also win in overtime, with a little help from the refs….

“Enjoyin’ My Coffee”

Chinese New Year 2019 is February 3rd-4th in the USA!
Happy Year of the Yin Brown Female Earth Pig!
newyear-pig300

The Pig is the twelfth of the Chinese zodiac animals. According to myth, the Jade Emperor decided the zodiac by the order in which each animal arrived to a party. The Pig was late because he overslept, arrived last and ended up number twelve.

The Pig is yin. The Pig is associated with the Earth element and the hours 9–11 at night.
Pigs are a symbol of wealth. Fat faces and big ears are also signs of good fortune.

Dinner at Davenport’s in Encino

25507822_2068959426463946_7628801933721253524_n

Wednesday night we went for dinner at Davenport’s in Encino. We wanted to try a neighborhood restaurant we had never been to before. They opened last year in the space formerly occupied by Dupar’s and John L. Groats on Ventura Boulevard west of Woodley Avenue. And so, on a cold winter weekday evening we made a reservation for 7:15pm.

Parking is in the rear and the lot was full. There was a line at the host station, located just inside the front door and the restaurant was packed at the sushi bar, long bar, bar dining  area and dining room. The outdoor patio was empty because it was “effing” cold and there was a nice wind blowing through the courtyard that even the outdoor heaters couldn’t warm. We know this because the reservation was made for “Outside”, even though we didn’t ask for the patio. When we asked to sit inside, the hostess seating us said there was an hour wait for a table and we almost left and went somewhere else…

Instead we went inside and found the manager and explained the situation. He was very understanding and they found a nice table in the corner of the dining room for us in a very short time. BRAVO!

The restaurant is divided into different spaces as mentioned above: there’s a sushi bar, long bar, bar dining area and formal dining room/private party space where we were seated. the interior is very nice, albeit a little crowded when the place is packed. If you’ve followed my Blog you know there are more than 20 sushi restaurants in the neighborhood, so a restaurant with a sushi bar (and raw oyster bar) is nothing new and the prices for sushi and sashimi were higher than most. They were offering a combination sashimi and oyster plate for $42 when we offered the specials by our friendly waiter.

We decided not to have sushi or oysters, knowing that we were going to have a big meal and instead just started with their tasty cornbread and bread & butter. They have some nice appetizers but again we didn’t order any know the entrees were large. We did share an $11 Caesar salad, but ended up giving it to another member of our party because they added kale (WE HATE KALE) without mention of it on the menu.

We had the BBQ baby back ribs ($29 for a full rack) and they were delicious! Fall off the bone and cooked really well. The BBQ sauce was tasty and we substituted sautéed asparagus for cole slaw. The fries were tasty, but they weren’t served hot enough. We ate a few of the ribs at dinner and took the rest home and ate them with hot (reheated) fries for lunch the next day, and the ribs were delicious the day after too!

Or party also tried the lobster roll, lobster (Cobb) salad and the ribeye steak. We also tried a glass of red and a glass of white wine, which were both excellent choices. And everything they served us was very well prepared, visually appealing, very tasty and super quality food! We tasted the brownie sundae dessert which was shared by our party, and it was wonderful but we were full and didn’t want dessert.

NOTE: We LOVE dessert and the brownie sundae was good, but the meal service had taken a long time and we were tired of sitting, a little claustrophobic, and really ready to go before we even ordered dessert.

The service was good, just a little slow because it was slammed, crowded and the layout of the restaurant makes it harder to serve. We never had to wait very long for our waiter,  and he did an excellent job tending to our requests.

On The Menu: BBQ Baby Back Ribs with fries and sautéed asparagus, cornbread, bread & butter, Caesar salad, Lobster Roll, Lobster Cobb Salad, Brownie sundae and a coke

All in all, it was a very nice dinner to celebrate the end of Hannukah and the Winter Solstice (see our previous Blog Posts) and we left happy, full and with leftovers in hand. It was a good dining experience at a restaurant we had never been to before, and we would definitely return for another meal.

SPRING FORWARD! FULL MOON!

SPRING FORWARD! HAPPY PURIM! FULL MOON!

Who? Who? The Owl cries.
Over and over it calls.
Who is it seeking?

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME, SET YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD AN HOUR!

Went to a funeral for a friend on Friday.
We learned March 10th is known among Gamers as “Mario Day” because MAR 10.
And so it was fitting that our old friend Mario’s funeral was March 10th.

“For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone.” – Psalms 103:16

The funeral service was held in a Catholic church “over the hill” in Simi Valley. It was followed by a short service at the burial site in a nearby cemetery and a reception at the family home. There was a large turnout of friends and family on a sad and beautiful Friday morning.

The 23 Freeway to Simi Valley, California

We drove north from the San Fernando Valley on the 101 freeway to Thousand Oaks and the 23 freeway and then into the backside of east Simi Valley, a suburban community in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. It’s farther away than we remembered.

We arrived on time, parked the car and joined the crowd outside in front of the church. We  saw some of our old friends from the “crazy eighties” for the first time in many years. And also a few friends who were at the New Year’s Eve party, our last celebration with Mario.

The funeral included a Catholic Mass and Communion service, a nice eulogy from his son and tearful biblical readings from his two daughters, and then a lesson/lecture from the priest that went on too long. The wooden pews (benches) are really uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time and we don’t do a lot of kneeling on a regular basis.

There was pianist who played and sang three hymns and “Avé Maria”  during the service. And one of the young nephews sitting in the 2nd family pew threw up in front of me just as they were starting the communion, which Mario would have thought hilarious! They took the sick kid out and only a few people really noticed.

NOTE: We don’t talk a lot about religion, because we were raised properly in a time when the topics of religion and personal politics weren’t discussed in polite conversation.

It was a nice service. We were there to support the family and mourn our friend Mario. After the church service, we drove over to the cemetery (which was only a few blocks away) and there was a short graveside service. Then after the cemetery service we drove over to the the family house for the reception. We didn’t take pictures at the church. We snapped one pic of the pallbearers carrying the coffin from the hearse to the gravesite before the cemetery service and only took a couple pics of the food when no one was watching at the reception, not wanting to be rude or inappropriate.

At Mario’s reception there were two large identical tables of food and a dessert table. There were chips, drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) and flats of 1/2 size bottled waters too. They served croissant sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit and more. And there was a sheet cake that read “Aloha Mario Agent 007”. It was a very nice spread!

We paid our respect to the family and stayed longer than we thought catching up briefly with old friends. Tempus fugit! Time flies. The unfortunate circumstance makes the reunion bittersweet and we all have a deep connection to the family and feel their pain and loss. We had to leave because the puppies were left in the crate and we needed to get home for them. So we said our goodbyes and headed home, this time across Simi Valley and then on the 118 east to Desoto Ave, where we filled up the gas tank ($3.05 per gallon!) and then south across the San Fernando Valley on surface streets at rush hour.

At home, we took care of the dogs and crashed hard (mentally and physically tired). We slept for a couple hours, had dinner, started this Blog and then went to sleep.

NOTE: Mario’s obituary and my small tribute are in our previous Blog.

Saturday! Happy Purim!
It was a beautiful day, tempered by the sadness of Friday, and after feeding the dogs early, we went back to sleep. We were hosting a Purim dinner party in the evening, so some of the day was spent in preparation for the event. Our guests came around 6pm and the party ended about 9pm.

Purim is “Jewish Carnivale”, a fun holiday festival held in Spring that commemorates the defeat of a plot to massacre the Jews in ancient Persia (between 465 BC – 424 BC) as recorded in the Old Testament’s Book of Esther. The joyous holiday is celebrated with readings, feasting and merriment! And like most other Jewish holidays, gifts of food are given to the less fortunate and other charitable acts are performed.

We went out after the party, stopped at the market and got home after midnight. We made a “late-night” burrito and then went off to bed. And Daylight Savings Time at 2am… we set the clocks ahead and lost an hour of sleep.

12:30am> Tri-tip, cheese, red rice & bean burrito with avocado and salsa; tortilla chips, avocado, red rice & beans, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries

Sunday, Sunday….
After feeding the dogs early, we went back to bed.
Nothing accomplished all day long, except we made Brunch
and raked the leaves in the backyard. Then we took a nap.

The gardeners were at the house working and installing new backyard lighting all day long, so we had the dogs in the office and numerous other distractions to keep us occupied.

Around 7pm we went out for a nice Sushi Dinner (comfort food) and when we got home we worked on this blog (and see our previous Blog “Procrastination”). And there are more than a few half written Blog posts that still need finishing saved as drafts. We’ve just been sad and uninspired recently due the death of our friends and hearing the news of another friend seriously injured in a traffic accident. The state of our government is really scary. We are trying to remain calm and positive under the circumstances, but we are feeling it.

On the Menu:
Brunch! 2 eggs over medium, bacon, toasted bagel with peanut butter and fresh raspberries, more fresh and fruity raspberries, 3 mini cinnamon rolls, a small glass of orange juice and an iced espresso.
Sushi! Rainbow roll, spicy tuna cut roll, California roll, eel & avocado cut roll and a coke.

A warm night in March
Sushi dinner comfort food
Full moon on Sunday

That was our sad and boring weekend. And we wrote some new haikus too.

Monday Morning 10am: dogs are fed, played with and have been outside, we had a cup of coffee (espresso with mocha mix) and now we have finished this Blog. What does today have in store for us? Find out tomorrow….. or maybe the day after tomorrow!
