CV! Part 175 – SUMMERTIME! (Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs)

Summer 2021 in Northern Hemisphere began on Sunday, June 20.,
and runs from the June Solstice to the Vernal (Fall) Equinox on September 22.
June, July, and August (and now September) are the HOT months of the year.
The days are longer and the nights are shorter (and warmer).

Monday, June 21, 2021 – It’s SUMMERTIME!

2:30am: Monday! We just woke up from a short nap….

7:25am: We woke up about an hour ago. We got the newspapers.
We took the dogs outside, we fed the dogs, and we took the dogs outside again.
We made an iced espresso. Drink Coffee. Drink Water.
Now we are starting our day in the Home Office.

11:30am: We went back to bed, woke up and took the dogs outside.
We ate a cold slice of leftover pizza. Then we went back to bed.
We just woke up and got the mail. Feeling’ “dazed and confused” for a bit.

2:35pm: We drank an iced espresso. We took the dogs outside.
It’s a beautiful, sunny, HOT, and very bright day.
And now we’re chillin’ in the Home Office again.

3:25pm: We just took the dogs outside again.

2:55am Tuesday: Recapping Monday evening and night.
There was a long pursuit and it ended in a standoff. in Burbank.
AUDI builds a great car if you want to run from the cops.

The SWAT team was called and they gassed the guy out of the car and into custody.
We took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs. We took the dogs outside.

We finally made some food. We were thinking tacos, but we made a burrito.
On The Menu: Tri-tip steak burrito with fresh guacamole and salsa verde
and a Jumex mango nectar to drink

And we fell asleep with the dogs and woke up a little before 3:00am on Tuesday.
We took the dogs outside and then put them back to bed in the bedroom.

3:10am: We’re awake again.

7:00am: And we are awake again. We were up for a couple hours in-between.
Okay then, GOOD MORNING. It’s f*ckin’ Tuesday. DO NOT TRAVELTUESDAY!
We haven’t had our coffee yet and we don’t feel like we slept.

Did everyone go to Las Vegas this weekend? No, okey where did you go?
TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE TRAVELING. And THERE IS NO LONGER ANY TESTING!
Mask are still required in when traveling, but not required at the destination? WTF?
THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT FULLY VACCINATED!
The CoronaVirus COVID-19 Delta Variant is becoming the dominant virus strain…..
and it’s more contagious and deadly. DO NOT RELY ON THE “HONOR SYSTEM”
(and they aren’t even talking about the new virus strain from Vietnam yet)

8:25am: We still haven’t had coffee. And we didn’t eat yet.
We got the newspapers.
We took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs. We took the dogs outside.
We had the dogs in the Home Office. We took the dogs outside.
Now they’re in the bedroom. And Choreboy is here to do some stuff.

11:45am: Well Choreboy did.a little vacuuming…. and not much more.
We drank an iced espresso. Drink Coffee. Drink Water.
We got the mail. We took the dogs outside. It’s a beautiful day.
And now we’re back in the Home Office.

1:35pm: We took a short (unintended) nap with the dogs.

3:20pm: So, we are still chilling’ in the Home Office with the dogs.
And they are just sleeping.
We ate some peanut M&Ms, but now it’s time for lunch.

4:10pm:
On The Mneu: Leftover pizza and an iced espresso for lunch

6:40pm:
We took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs. We took the dogs outside.

Recapping Tuesday night: nothing happened. We watched TV and surfed the interweb.

We binge-watched “Sons of Sam” on Netflix, about “the .44 Caliber Killer” David Berkowitz
and the failure of the NYPD to properly investigate the murders after he was caught.
It was interesting, but you have to be a True Crime fan to really enjoy it, we think.

And we’re not going to Burning Man (or That Other Thing in the Desert) this year.
FREE BURN? No, a lot of people on The Playa…. without structure. TOO MUCH CHAOS.
And probably too many people – now that the pandemic is no longer an issue.
FUCK YOUR PRETEND BURN! It will be better next year. Or two years ago….

Wednesday, June 23, 2021
It’s International Olympic Day! On this day in 1894, the International Olympic Committee  (IOC) was founded in Paris. Followed by 126 years of bribes and questionable practices on the name of sports. The can’t cancel the Tokyo 2020 2021 Olympics or they face financial ruin, even in the middle of a deadly pandemic.

The Glastonbury Festival, would normally be held this week. It is a five day party that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, in England . It is the largest music and performing arts festival in the world. And it is cancelled again in 2021 because of COVID-19. Attendance: was ~203,000 people in 2019.

1:15am: Nothing happened. We took the dogs outside a couple times.
We didn’t eat dinner…. and we also need to bake banana bread.
And now it’s Wednesday. Nothing happened Tuesday.

5:50am: We’ve been awake for 20 minutes.
We posted a new Blog Post> “CV! Part 174” (the one before this one)
Wednesday morning begins now.

6:25am: Okay! We got the newspapers and made an iced espresso.
Drink Coffee. Drink Water. We took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs.
We took the dogs outside again. We did the dishes.
Now we’re chillin’ in the Home Office while we update this Blog Post.
We have to scoop the new poop (the joy of pet ownership!) we didn’t scoop,
and also do a little yard work before the gardener comes later today.
And we need to eat breakfast today, because we didn’t have dinner last night…..

but first a little “morning news”., if you can call it that.
Traffic. Okay. We are not going anywhere today….again. StayTheF*ckHome!
10 Freeway is CLOSED near Fontana, California after a Big Rig Pursuit!
It started at 1:00am, and ended with the suspect killed by the Highway Patrol.
FREE BRITNEY! Britney Spears is going to testify about her conservatorship.
And they’ll be there all day to bring us the important updates!
Eviction Moratorium extended. California will pay off the LANDLORDS.
And WHAT ABOUT THE HOMELESS LIVING ON THE BOARDWALK in Venice, CA?
Republicans and the GOP TRAITORS FILIBUSTERED
and BLOCKED THE VOTING RIGHTS LEGISLATION!!!!!

And we gave up on the news….. it might rain, it’s going to be HOT later.
Kool and the Gang open the Hollywood Bowl season on 4th of July weekend!
Forty cows escaped yesterday from a slaughterhouse/meat packing plant
and they ended up stampeding through the streets of Pico Rivera late into the night.
The cops shot and killed at least one, and ONE IS STILL MISSING, we heard,
and it was fun to watch a bunch of fools try to lasso a cow on someone’s lawn.

1:45pm: We took the dogs outside. We got the mail. Then we took a nap.
We woke up and made lunch, because we still hadn’t eaten anything.
On The Menu: Toasted cheese sandwich, dill pickle, carrot & celery sticks,
strawberries, raspberries, and a peach, with an iced espresso to drink

3:00pm: We took the dogs outside. We scooped the poop. The gardener came.

4:50pm: We waited for the gardener to finish, and then we took the dogs outside.

11:40pm: Recapping Wednesday.
We took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs. We took the dogs outside.
We watched the new episode of “I’ll Be Gone In The Dark” on HBO.
WE SHAVED OUR BEARD! No more “pandemic beard”…. YES, it just happened.
MIDNIGHT BAKING! We baked two loaves of banana bread.
Trying to bake it all day, finally done at 11:30pm.

On The Menu: Banana Bread x2 (YUM! YUM!)

Time for dinner, but I just baked two loaves of banana bread,
and it’s really really good.
And the whole house smells like hot fresh banana bread.
So, banana bread for dinner at midnight.

3:05am: AM on Thursday. We vacuumed the Home Office.
We took the dogs outside, and into the kitchen, and into the Home Office.
And we just took a shower.

9:30am: We woke up at 8:00am. We got the newspapers and made an iced espresso.
We prepped the dogs’ breakfast. We took the dogs outside. We fed the dogs.
We took the dogs outside again. We are “dumping” all the pictures on our cell phone.
Time to get a new one….

11:25am: We are chillin’ in the Home Office with the dogs.
The housekeeper is here. We gave her Monday off., so there’s stuff for her to do.
We made another iced espresso and we got the mail. We ate a slice of banana bread.
It’s a beautiful day again, but it’s also noisy trash pickup day in the neighborhood.

WE DON’T CARE ABOUT BRITNEY SPEARS! (because itt’s “BIG NEWS” today)
WE DO NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HER CONSERVATORSHIP!
Entertainment Industry and State of California F*ckery with Lawyers!
She wanted to act “Crazy”, and they stole her money, and made her a trained chimp.
SHE IS JUST ANOTHER MUSIC BUSINESS AND HOLLYWOOD CAUTIONARY TALE.

WHEN WILL HE BE ARRESTED? HE IS A GOP TRUMP TRAITOR! LOCK HIM UP!
“America’s Mayor” is a CRIMINAL. (big surprise, right?)

4:05pm: Well, the housekeeper finished and left. We took the dogs outside.
We took a little nap. We woke up and made some lunch and an iced espresso to drink.
On The Menu: Steak, bean, and cheese burrito with fresh guacamole and salsa verde.

Recapping Thursday evening and night at 4:45am on Friday.
We took the dogs outside and fed the dogs. We took the dogs outside.

We watched a live pursuit from Oakland.
Stolen Audi SUV, they crashed it and two ran. But they didn’t go too far.
3 suspects in custody. (and this fool tried jumping fences with a helicopter overhead)

On The Menu: Fruits and veggies with pita chips.
Mango, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, carrot & celery sticks, dill pickle,
with pita chips, and an iced espresso to drink at 10:30pm

THE BIG DAY IS (finally) HERE!
We watched the Grand Opening of Resorts World in Las Vegas LIVE on Youtube.

The Vloggers were all there, with livestreams of the opening night festivities.
We briefly thought about making a reservation and driving to Nevada…..

And there were NO MASKS and NO SOCIAL DISTANCING!
The COVID-19 is apparently over if thousands of people can party without worry….

Seriously, does anyone else think we are STUPID?
We mean humans as a species are F*CKING STUPID..
Are we going to just forget the last SIXTEEN MONTHS OF FORCED SELF-ISOLATION?
Or Trump and the GOP Traitors’ four years of CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY?
