And it’s a beautiful windy day in the 818.
And it’s going to be a really great week in Southern California.
11:50am: We are surfin’ the interweb and Jay Blakesberg Photography has photographer Michael Grecco as his guest on his Facebook LIVE sharing his pics and talking about his new book “Punk, Post Punk, New Wave: Onstage, Backstage, In Your Face, 1978 to 1991″
….so of course we stopped to watch. NOTE: THAT WAS TOTALLY FANTASTIC!

“I would rather share one lifetime with you
than face all the ages of this world alone.”
– Arwen in The Lord of the Rings
1:15pm: We stopped and got some of the leftover Thai food from last night.
We reheated one chicken satay skewer with peanut sauce and a cut up Thai BBQ chicken breast and ate that for lunch with an iced espresso to drink.
And then we took the dogs outside and now we’re back chillin’ in the Home Office.

isolated
“Much love much trial, but what an utter desert is life without love.”
– Charles Darwin
“So come on baby, baby please,
And I’m beggin’ you baby cause I’m on my knees,
Turn on your lights let it shine on me
Turn on your lovelight let it shine on me
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.”
Here is some Virtual Chocolate Candy & Mad Love

“If music be the food of love, play on” – William Shakespeare
Grateful Dead – “American Beauty” November 1970
(aka “American Reality”)
“When Push Comes to Shove”
by the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter
Here there may be tigers, to punch you in the ear.
With gloves of stainless steel, bats carved out of bricks
Knock you down and beat you up and give your ass a kick.
When push comes to shove, you’re afraid of love.
–
Here there may be rattlesnakes, to punch you in the eye.
With shotgun’s full of silver and bullet’s made of glass
String barbed wire at your feet, that do not let you pass.
When push comes to shove, you’re afraid of love.
–
You’re afraid of love, when push comes to shove.
–
Jerry’s Guitar Solo and Groovy Band Jam!
–
Are you still in fear of the hand beneath the bed?
Scratching at the window, rapping at the door,
Maybe it’s mystery killer that you saw on channel four.
When push comes to shove, you’re afraid of love.
–
When push comes to shove, when push comes to shove,
You’re afraid of love, when push comes to shove.
Shakin’ in the garden the fear within you grows,
Still there may be roses to punch you in the nose,
Twist their arms around you, slap you ’til you cry,
Wrap you in their sweet perfume and love you ’til I die.
When push comes to shove, you’re afraid of love.
–
When push comes to shove, when push comes to shove,
You’re afraid of love, when push comes to shove.
When push comes to shove, when push comes to shove,
You’re afraid of love, when push comes to shove.

Grateful Dead – “Skull and Roses” October 1971
“I don’t know, it must have been the roses,
The roses or the ribbons in her long brown hair.
I don’t know, maybe it was the roses,
All I know I could not leave her there”.
“Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.”
– “The Princes Bride”
background
“Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey
Your first sweet kiss thrilled me so
Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey
I’ll never ever let you go”
– a song written by the songwriting team of Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman,
and originally recorded by The Drifters
“Standing on the moon with nothing left to do
A lovely view of heaven but I’d rather be with you”
9:15pm: Recapping the day now. We took a nap and slept for a little bit.
We played with and were outside with the dogs and the dogs got their supper.
They are our Valentine every year now.
And we ordered Indian food for dinner delivery tonight.
Watching Pompsie’s Sunday night “Super-Spreader” Livestream from the Las Vegas Strip….
TOO MANY PEOPLE! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING! Mask wearing is “optional” outside….
There are a ton of people in Las Vegas during the pandemic!
They must be spending their Government money (taking a pandemic payment vacation)
THERE ARE SOME SERIOUS “LOW-ROLLERS” who aren’t there to spend any money.
We are “safer-at-home” of course and it is making us really angry, for so many reasons.
ALL THESE PEOPLE IN LAS VEGAS and a semi-celebrity Vegas Vlogger (one of many).
We are single today on Valentine’s Day again.
We usually are. And we are very okay with it.
My ex-wife’s birthday was yesterday. Today was Valentine’s Day.
She got a Facebook birthday post again this year. That’s all.

We go together like wine and any day of the week.
