11:00am: Good morning. It’s Saturday. We’ve been awake since before 6:00am.
We did sleep a little. The dogs got fed. We got the newspapers.
They are JACK-HAMMERING across the street this morning
and they started around 8:15am…. so the construction isn’t quite done.
We had a toasted bagel with cream cheese around 3:00am.
And then we had two cup so espresso and a quesadilla with salsa around 9:00am.
We took a shower and put on clean clothes (sweatpants and t-shirt).
4:30pm: We took a nap and slept for a little bit.
And then the New York Giants v. Dallas Cowboys game came on!
But it’s the game from Week 5…. they don’t play again until tomorrow.
We made and ate some food before we realized it… Fished In!
On The Menu: 2 hotdogs with mustard, dill pickle, half of an avocado, celery and carrot sticks, pita chips, red grapes and an iced espresso to drink

6:00am: Well, we’ve been up all again. See our previous Blog Post.
We love astronomy. And we know at least one Professor of Astrophysics.
7:15am: Toasted croissant with butter, a blueberry muffin, some red grapes, and two espressos for breakfast. DRINK WATER. Drink Coffee.
The dogs got fed and went outside and we got the newspapers.

NFL FOOTBALL! Week 17 – Remember when?
12:45pm: Drink Coffee. DRINK WATER. Watch NFL Football.
We fell asleep after the kickoff and woke up during the 4th Quarter of the Dallas game. And the Cowboys are making a game of it…. We drank a cup of espresso and then a glass of water.
Pittsburgh Steelers 22 v. Cleveland Browns 24 final – and we didn’t watch it at all.
Dallas Cowboys 19 v. New York Giants 23 final (the Cowboys lose again)
Dallas QB Dalton throws a 4th Quarter interception in the end zone…….
Arizona Cardinals v. Los Angeles Rams
Rams beat the Cardinals 18-7 and get a WILDCARD spot in the playoffs.
Los Angeles Chargers v. Kansas City Chiefs
Chargers beat the Chiefs – Los Angeles QB Herbert broke a bunch of records too.
Washington “Football Team” v. Philadelphia Eagles at 5:15pm
Washington won. The NY Giants were eliminated when they won.
Some people are suggesting the Eagles lost on purpose…. REALLY?
YES THE BRONCOS LOST AGAIN. The Las Vegas Raiders beat them 32-31

9:20pm: We watched football, we surfed the interweb, we ate lunch, we fell asleep.
We slept through the evening game. And we were awake and asleep and awake.
And then it was Monday morning.

Monday, January 4, 2021 – MONDAY!
HOLIDAYS ARE OVER! BACK TO REALITY!
The eleventh day of Christmas – Eleven Pipers piping
8:00am: Happy Monday! The dogs got fed. The dogs were outside.
We had an espresso, and we got the newspapers.
We also moved our neighbors trashcans from in front of our house, where they’ve been laying on the curb since trash pickup on Thursday, and into their driveway across the street. We are going to ask them not to put them in front of our house next time we see them. Also we going to remind them that trashcans go out on Wednesday, not Tuesday, and the mobile car wash guy is breaking the law when he washes their cars with his compressor and leaf blower….
New Year, and time to deal with the neighbors across the street.
And it’s Monday and we should do something today.
YES WE SHOULD JUST STAY HOME!
11:00am: We watched the Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesia’s Netflix special “One Size Fits All”
He’s so funny. Comedy specials and podcast have helped us keep smiling.

4:30pm: We fell asleep with the dogs and slept for a few hours. The housekeeper came and cleaned, and now she’s gone. We took the dogs outside and just drank a cup of espresso. And it was so good, we made another. And we are sipping on it and watching the TV news.
Drink coffee. DRINK WATER.
And there’s no Monday Night Football tonight. The “regular” season is over and done.
And “baby, it’s cold outside” – no seriously, it’s cold here in the 818. Like wintertime cold.
On The Menu: Cuban food! Roasted garlic chicken and onions, with white rice, black beans, and plantains. Cran-raspberry-orange juice to drink.
We ate our dinner.
We updated this Blog Post.
And we are going to publish it now and add on later tonight.
10:15pm: We fell asleep after dinner and woke up at 10:00pm.
