CORONAVIRUS! Part 73 (Monday again and Tuesday too)
Monday, September 21, 2020
8:00pm: We had a happy Monday. And we did some chores.
We took care of the dogs and got the newspapers and mail.
We did some laundry. We dusted and vacuumed the office.
WE REALLY DID NOTHING. THERE WAS NOTHING. Then we took a nap.
We woke up and it was dark outside at 7:15pm. So we took care of the dogs.
They went outside and had their supper and snacks.
Now we’re all chilling’ in the Home Office watching the end of Monday Night Football.
In Progress: New Orleans Saints at the Las Vegas Raiders (Saints LOSE 34-24!)
NOTE: The new Allegiant stadium in Vegas is EMPTY and there are NO FANS, so they’re playing loud pre-recorded crowd noise for the television broadcast (really STUPID)….
The Denver Broncos lost again yesterday, to the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-21 and are now 0-2 after two games, and Drew Lock the starting quarterback, injured his shoulder and was sidelined for most of the game. But it wasn’t even a game before the injury.
And all we ate today was a toasted bagel with cream cheese this morning.
So, now we are hungry and it’s time for dinner.
But we want to spend some more quality time with the dogs first.
On The Menu: Bacon cheeseburger on toasted challah bread with dill pickle, carrots & celery, and tortilla chips with an iced espresso to drink
Tuesday, September 22, 2020 – First Day of Fall!
12:30pm: Hello TravelTuesday! Another day. And we’re not going anywhere.
We woke up and took care of the dogs. And we got the newspapers.
And we’ve had two cups of espresso.
And we got the mail. And we took a nap. We cleaned the kitchen a little.
We did some other chores around the house. We are SO BORED.
It’s the Autumnal Equinox! The Sun is moving from north to south and is exactly above the equator. Earth’s Northern and Southern Hemispheres receive the sun’s rays equally and there are equal hours of daylight and darkness today.
“The annual Autumn Equinox helps us honor the beauty of the balance between day and night, between activities and restful times, between productivity and contemplation, and it encourages us give thanks for our life’s bountiful harvest,” – Elaine Voci Ph.d
