The painters came early and finished the job (for real) with a few touch-ups today. The house looks very nice with a fresh coat of paint and the new front landscape.

Had a dentist appointment scheduled for first thing this morning, after rescheduling two or three times because of the CoronaVirus, and we called and cancelled it!
The anxiety! Too much stress. We haven’t been sleeping much and we didn’t sleep at all last night and the anxiety grew until morning. We were going to go, but NO.
Too scary. We haven’t been around people for any length of time since the first week of March, and the thought of having to be in the chair with other people in the room is very unsettling – AND WE 100% TRUST OUR DENTIST AND HIS STAFF! So we didn’t go and we feel shame, but the CoronaVirus is still spreading here in Los Angeles and there’s no way to know who has it and we don’t want it. So we’ll STAYTHEFUCKHOME today.
And the housekeeper came this morning. So there’s another thing to worry about as we hole up in the Home Office with the dogs until she’s done. She is “family” but we are thinking about our personal bubble and we don’t want her in it. The RISK OF DEATH OR SERIOUS PROLONGED/LONG-TERM ILLNESS OUTWEIGHS ANY BENEFIT OF HAVING THE HOUSE CLEANED! We can keep it clean for ourself until there’s a vaccine.
Cold pizza for breakfast/lunch. Trash day. Trash trucks.
The dogs got fed and they are chillin’ all together in the other room. Happy dogs!
Construction continues across the street. NOISE and workmen on the street everyday.
We just couldn’t stomach the news today, so we haven’t watched or listened to any.
On The Menu: Ordered Cuban food – garlic chicken and onions, white rice, black beans, plantains and an iced espresso
NOTE: Sorry, not sorry. This week Blog Post was built on Sunday and we added a few things Mon-Tues-Wed, but then we filled it all in on Thursday afternoon. There was a lot of “not news” between the AXIOS interview fallout and today’s legal filings against the NRA in New York. School re-opening is the dumbest strategy we can imagine. Re-opening businesses caused a massive spike in reported cases, so now let’s expose the children too. There is an amazing amount of distraction and misdirection happening, so be careful out there.
