We have to recap Tuesday.
Awake at 6:00am again – dogs barking- can’t wait to be fed…..
it sucks to wake up angry and frustrated. And the dogs got fed.
And we went back to bed, or tried to sleep.

After 1:00pm calm was restored.
We were outside with the dogs.
June gloom until late in the afternoon.
We cleaned and sanitized the kitchen.
We did a load of laundry.
And we marinated some steak for dinner.
And we fed the dogs their supper.
And we took the dogs outside.
And we hung out and played with the dogs.
And we had the dogs in the office.

There was a slow speed pursuit of a black SUV, and it was so boring even the cops gave up on it. All the media cut away and the dude just kept driving we guess….

And then we made dinner. Skewered the marinated tri-tip steak and broiled it.
On The Menu: Steak-on-a-Stake (see our previous Blog Post for the recipe)

2:00am: Okay, we’re up again. Awake again.
And then we worked on updating this Blog Post.

And we just watched “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” (the Mister Rogers film with Tom Hanks) on TV. And it was weird, but good, but weird. And good.
We also enjoyed the Mister Rogers documentary film that came out last year.
Both are worth viewing.
And we just took the dogs outside at 4:00am.

8:00pm: It was a nice day. We woke up around 7:30am and took care of the dogs. We were outside and they got fed and we were outside again. We got the newspapers and the mail. We ate a toasted bagel with cream cheese and drank a little juice and some espresso. The gardener was here today and he did his thing, and the dogs were chill, and we all took a nap. And we woke up and we fed the dogs their supper, and we were outside on both sides of the feeding, and now it’s nighttime.

A SHORT RANT ABOUT FACEBOOK:
Yesterday I was reprimanded by an Administrator of a group I’ve been a member of for years for correcting a newbie on the rules about selling and promoting a known scammer, and then the newbie cried “why are you being mean to me?”, and other people who had no context called me a troll for telling her to remove the post. So, though it hurts to remove past posts with comments from friends who have passed on. I removed most of my posts and comments because the group is no longer private and now caters to unknowns who have visited a renaissance faire once.
Not going to name the group or the Admin. I’m not flouncing or leaving the group. No protest is necessary. I posted this comment on a thread in another group and crossposted it here on my page and not in the offending group. Not into the drama. Not going to cry “why are you being mean to me?” The group was private and that changed. Too many strangers and people who were never at the Agoura site posting and commenting now. Better to take my ball and go home than to fight with children.
Check the group privacy of any Renaissance Faire group you’re in. If it is public, that’s a clue. Then check the friends list, and if it’s hundreds of people you don’t know and have no connection to the faire, then you’ll know.

On The Menu: Breakfast for dinner at 11:00pm

9:30am: Good morning! We didn’t sleep well again. We had a sore shoulder all yesterday, and it’s a little better today…. We were up very early and then went back to bed and woke up again around 8:30am. The dogs were outside early and then outside again. Then they got fed and we were outside again. And we got the newspaper.

The construction continues across the street and the hammering and noise is never-ending. One of our neighbors has a huge property and Thursday is landscape day and it take hours of heavy equipment just to mow the fuckin’ lawn. Tomorrow is gardener day for our other neighbor, so there is always loud and obnoxious daytime neighborhood noise now.

And planes are flying again, private jets and commercial flights from Burbank and Van Nuys and LAX. More helicopters too. Yesterday we say a Chinook heavy lifter with two props flyover the house, must have been a water dropper for the fire department.

MAN, WE ARE BORED.
STAYING HOME ALL THE TIME, ONE DAY BLEEDS INTO THE NEXT.
TV, INTERWEB, DOGS, FOOD, LAUNDRY, CLEANING.
RINSE-LATHER-REPEAT.

We are trying to keep the Blog Posts current and have been writing constantly, and posting regularly: THIS IS PART 47 FFS! Three months of forced lockdown and quarantine, with no end in sight, as the number of cases continues to rise, and the city, county, state, and country continue to re-open regardless of the consequences.
THERE IS NO CURE! THERE IS NO VACCINE! THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TESTING!
WE ARE NOW SEEING THE “MEMORIAL DAY SPIKE” and infections will increase as the “PROTEST SPIKE” begins and the “RE-OPENNG SPIKE” hits.
And another 100000+ people could die in the next two months!

11:45am: Almost noon. We got the mail. We were outside with the dogs and then we played inside and now they are napping. We had a cup of espresso this morning but we haven’t eaten since we had breakfast before midnight. So we are thinking about food and what to do next.

Nothing happened. Dogs got fed. We were outside. There was a pursuit. A stolen vehicle pursuit ended with a foot bail in the neighborhood, and now there are many cop and news helicopters hovering as they search for the suspect, and no one covered it.

On The Menu: 3 beef soft tacos with fresh made guacamole and an iced espresso
