3:00am: We just finished and published the previous Blog Post (Part 26).
And we started the layout on this one. Hope you like it. Part 27!
We are Blogging our FORCED LOCKDOWN. Not exactly the diary of Anne Frank, but kind of a record of our 40 DAYS IN THE HOLE PLUS ANOTHER MONTH OR TWO….
WE THINK THIS IS DAY 56 FOR US.
It helps us pass the time in solo-isolation, and to keep track of the days, and to motivate us to do stuff other than eat, sleep, and be entertained. And we are entertained, there is no end to the creative stuff happening online while everyone else is locked down. There is so much FREE live music, you can’t stream all of it. You can Netflix & chill without end.
And some are trying to monetize and sell tickets – we say FUCK THEM!
People have donation or tip jars to collect money, we say SUPPORT THEM!
WE ARE ALSO INCLUDING SAFETY AND HEALTH TIPS FOR YOUR EDUCATION.
And we are continuing our unending HATE for Trump, his cronies, and the GOP Republicans who are responsible for this disaster, the destruction of our democracy, crimes against the United States, and CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY!
On the Menu: We ate the last of the leftover pizza sometime between 3am and dawn.
2:20pm: FUCK. We woke up with a headache. We didn’t sleep very much, and we woke up tired. So this morning we were tired and we had a headache, and we tried to go back to bed, and there was too much noise. So we’ve had a FUCKING HEADACHE ALL FUCKING DAY! The refrigerator guy just came and delivered a a new freezer! And he took the old one away. Mail, newspaper, and dogs have been taken care of too. It’s a beautiful day again here in the SFV, and it’s HOT. Continuing to self-isolate and still trying to maintain ZERO CONTACT!
NOTE: We didn’t have to wait for Saturday to be incredibly frustrated this week….
WE ARE NOT GOING OUT IN PUBLIC – NOT EVEN TO PICK UP DINNER TONIGHT!
We work incredibly hard to protect ourself! ZERO CONTACT! Well, we had a pizza delivered this week, and we went to the market last week. But having the service people at the house (plumber, washer guy, refrigerator guy, car guy), and being in close range with strangers in a enclosed space just FREAKS ME OUT! And it’s fucking exhausting.
10:00pm: We raged, and then slept a little. Woken up by the dogs barking more than once. We found another flea on the Little Boy, so we gave him another bath after his dinner. We HATE fleas. (Everybody hates fleas of course) And time to give him the flea prevention medication again. We have to wait a couple days now, but it’s going to happen. We finally ate some food. Breakfast for dinner at 9:00pm.
On the Menu: 2 eggs over medium, bacon, cheese quesadilla with salsa verde, avocado, red grapes, cran-raspberry-orange juice and an iced espresso. Good Shabbos!
And onward to Saturday and the weekend! STAYTHEFUCKHOME!

After media coverage of over-crowded beaches this past weekend, in violation of California’s Shelter in Place Order, Governor Governor Newsom announced Thursday that ALL beaches and all California state parks in will be closed until further notice.
There were more stupid protests today in California. There were big crowds of Trump supporters gathered together to protest “Safer-At-Home” and “Shelter-In-Place” mandates without wearing masks or social distancing from each other. There were gatherings in Huntington Beach, Downtown Los Angeles, Sacramento and other cities. So look for another “spike” in cases soon. Georgia is reporting 1000 new reported cases in one day, following the easing of restrictions and re-opening of some businesses this week.
And as more people are tested the number of reported cases is also going to rise, because so many people are infected and don’t know it because they don’t have symptoms….
Culling the herd: (cull means to select or gather)
1. Literally, to separate or remove (and usually kill) inferior animals out of a herd so as to reduce numbers or remove undesirable traits from the group as a whole.
(When population densities get too high, they can become diseased)
