CORONAVIRUS! Part 21 (Sat-Sun, and 4-20 Monday)

Remember we did yard work last week?
Trimmed the trees and now the backyard looks pretty good.
3:30pm We are taking the weekend off from blogging our forced lockdown. But….
we just caught the very end of the Orange Turd’s daily jerkoff session for the Press,
and TRUMP IS CRAZY! NUTS! TOTAL WACKO! ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INSANE!
On The Menu: Ordered another sausage and meatball pizza from D’Amore’s!
And had it delivered around 3pm in the afternoon because we were hungry.
(ordered an extra-large and had it for lunch and dinner)
9:30pm Ate some pizza for lunch, played with the dogs, took a nap, ate some pizza for dinner and tuned in to Saturday’s evening’s entertainment airing on ABC, CBS and NBC simultaneously. And also on the interweb everywhere!

Sunday, April 19, 2020 – It’s Bicycle Day!

On April 19th, 1943, Albert Hofmann, a chemist for Sandoz Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland, tested an experimental drug on himself and ingested a minute amount (250 micrograms) of a compound synthesized from the rye fungus, ergot. Less than an hour later, he was “tripping” and was the first person to experience the mind-altering effects of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide). Because of WWII restrictions, he and his assistant rode their bicycles home from work, giving the historic day its name.

1:30pm We woke up early. Dogs. Went back to bed.
Woke up again, dogs! And went back to bed. And woke up again.
Dogs outside and made an espresso. Doing a load of laundry too.

It’s overcast and gray, but not cold, here in the valley today.
4:30pm We played with the dogs outside and then made a big pot of steak chili.

On The Menu: Twice baked potato smothered in spicy steak chili (with beans, bacon and sausage) and cheese and crushed tortilla chips
11:30pm We played with the dogs outside and took a nice hot shower!
And then we fell asleep, and then we woke up around 3:30am.
NOTE: We did watch the Orange Turd’s Sunday evening jerkoff session for the Press.

8:20am And the dogs went outside and got fed breakfast and then we got the papers.
We had some orange juice, an espresso, and the last of the banana bread we made last week (it was frozen and thawed out last night). And now we are Monday AM chillin’.
